Asogomi is taken from the Japanese word sogomi meaning masterful presence, something very much needed in our leaders today. Facing pending calamities in our natural resources as well as from our own innate violence, we can no longer afford to ignore the fact that each and every one of us belongs to the planetary community that is planet Earth ... and that, for the sake of the generations that are to follow us, each and every one us us must lead into the future. Accepting our roles as citizens of planet Earth requires all of us to transform ourselves in ways that allow us to express sogomifrom the core of our beings.

President of Asogomi Publishing International, Tim Wareneka is the author of our best-selling leadership book, Leading People the Black Belt Way: Conquering the Five Core Problems Facing Leaders Today. He is also the author of Healing Katrina: Volunteering in Post-Hurricane Mississippi and co-author of The Way of Leading People: Unlocking Your Integral Leadership Skills with the Tao Te Ching. Tim's latest book is Black Belt Leader, Peaceful Leader: An Introduction to Catholic Servant Leadership.
